Catwalk.
Here is the sketch that I have completed showing the styling of the dresses for the Catwalk. I envision my makeup to be used on the haute-couture clothing collection, rather than the ready to wear collections. Because I am thinking of completing my shoot for the Catwalk as headshot images, I do not need the full outfit, just the neckpieces. However, I think it is important to show my overall design to full understand the look. On the left, is the first design, where the makeup is going to be glossy, with clumpy eyelashes, and hair pulled back into a ponytail-plait. I am going to use a large sheet of chiffon-like mesh material, and create a ruff, reminiscent of the Victorian ruffs. I want it large, exaggerated in shape, but to frame the face, not conceal it. Alongside this, I see the model wearing a short, bandaged dress with a long train. I am not going to make this dress, but I wanted to see how the top half would look completed with the bottom half. For the second look, I am going to make a necklace-like piece that is going to wrap around the neck and drape down onto the chest. It will be made from strings of pearls backed with lace, to tie in with the makeup. The makeup is going to be the second look, consisting of Pearls and Lace applied to the face. I have drawn a closeup of this to show. I envision this look with the same style of dress as the one before, as I think these would suit the looks well and it is similar to the styles of Givenchy.

Here is the design for the Advertisement Shoot. For the first shoot, I have chosen the model to wear a black, satin night-dress, with lace edging. I think that this will work really well with the makeup, which is soft, pastel colours, and wet hair. I think that this will be appropriate for an advertisement shoot, because of the mix of textures, colours and styles. I think that this look will be seductive and lure the viewer in, as well as soft and gentle. I want to style a smaller set of pearls around the neck, to link in with the catwalk shoots, as well as the themes of Givenchy's Spring/Summer 2016 Collection. The second look that I have styled is a black, lace bandaged dress, of mid-length. I think that this dress will add sophistication to the look, as well as dark seduction. I want to style this with a large black choker, to tie in with the Gothic nature of Givenchy. I think that this dress will fit in well with the dramatic makeup, as the makeup is angular, like the shapes in the dress.
Editorial.
Here is the look that I have created for the editorial shoots. For the first shoot, I want the model(s) to wear a large black, angular tuxedo jacket. I think that, alongside the makeup, this will give a sense of strength, power and seduction. Givenchy often team a silk dress with a large jacket, which is what inspired me to use a large jacket in this shoot. I think that the makeup, which is quite alien, will be effective with this simple styling. I would like the model to not have anything under the jacket, so it appears as more of a dress. For the second shoot, I would like to use the chiffon material that I have used in the catwalk shoots, and manipulate this into a dress. I have completed a rough sketch of what I think it will look like, however, I think that this will be determined on the day. I also have another idea for the styling on this shoot. I would like to incorporate this soft but gothic look into my styling for the shoot. I would like to use a black kimono, loosely hanging on the body allowing the viewer to see the gems that follow down her neck in a straight line through her chest. I think that this could be styled well with black leather trousers and pointed ankle boots, or a long skirt.
