Here is my first Catwalk Hair Chart. I want this hairstyle to be sleek, smooth and clean. I want to slick the hair back along the scalp, and create a clean, high plait at the top of the head. I will spray the hair down with hairspray to create this smooth finish, then spritz with a grey hairspray to add colour.
Here is the second look for my Catwalk Shoot. I want this hairstyle to contrast the other, with a low ponytail which is twisted at the bottom. I want the hair to be smooth but not slicked down, and the bottom of the hair loosely down.
Here is the second advertisement hair chart that I have created. I want this look to be over the top, with a large quiff, and backcombed ponytail. I want the sides of the hair to be brushed back tightly across the head. The makeup look that I am going to partner this look with is quite angular, dramatic colours and quite alien.
This is the design for the Editorial look 1. For this shoot, I am hoping to use a group of models, with the same styling and makeup, as well as the hairstyle. For this, I am hoping to create center partings, with the hair greased down into a low ponytail, and the hair tucked behind the ears. I think this wet look will add to the effect of the hair, as this is quite a simple hairstyle.
This is my final design for the editorial shoot. This shoot, I will be using a single model. I would like to use finger waves in this shoot, and use gel to hold them in place as well as create a more enhanced wave. I would also like to manipulate the baby hair of the model, into swirls and shapes on the face. This has been done before on the Givenchy Catwalk, and I think that this would suit the look that I am trying to create for this shoot. The hair will be placed in a centre parting, and the finger waves will not go across the face too much as I need to be able to apply the jewels around the face. I think this hairstyle will compliment the makeup for this look, and create a royal feel.
